It was found in 1956 on the south slope of the Acropolis. It is mended from fragments and restored. The globular body rests on a disc-foot and the tall, cylindrical neck is topped with a flat, outturned rim. Grooves run around the body.

Unguentaria were used for holding and transporting perfume oils as well as various other liquids and solids, such as honey, mastic and spices.
